General Terms and Conditions of Hotel Services

These General Terms and Conditions of Hotel Services (hereinafter - the Terms and Conditions) are established by UAB “VVARFF” Hotel “Porto”, located in Plungė district. sav., Babrungo sen., Truikių k., Pramogų str. 2 (Hotel), the procedure and conditions for the provision of services

1. Services provided by the hotel:

In these Terms and Conditions, “Hotel Services” means the accommodation and catering services of the Hotel guests, the rental of conference and / or other event facilities.

2. Procedure for submitting and confirming a reservation:

2.1. Reservations for the provision of services are sent to the hotel by e-mail, telephone call, upon arrival at the hotel.

2.2. When submitting a reservation to the Hotel, the individual guest must indicate the number of guests arriving at the Hotel, their names, category (type) of the desired room or rented premises, dates of arrival and departure, method of payment for the services provided by the Hotel;

2.3. The reservation of the services provided by the Hotel may be guaranteed by credit card, prepayment or agreement with the Hotel;

2.4. At the time of check-in at the Hotel, the guest (s) shall complete a “Hotel Guest Registration Card” stating their name, place of residence, name and number of their identity document, dates of arrival and departure and signing.

2.5. At check-in, guests are required to present proof of identity. Without such a document, the guest will not be registered and the hotel will not be served.

3. Agreement on the services provided by the Hotel:

3.1. The contract for the services provided is considered concluded when the guest receives the booking confirmation by e-mail.

3.2. An oral agreement between the parties shall take effect only if it is confirmed in writing;

3.3. The conclusion of the Agreement on the Services provided by the Hotel annuls all previous agreements of the parties regarding the terms and conditions of the Services provided by the Hotel and obliges the parties to perform the concluded agreement;

3.4. If one clause of the Hotel Services Agreement is declared invalid or negotiations for its amendment are made, the other clauses of the said contract and the entire contract shall not become invalid.

4. Liability and storage of items:

4.1. The procedure for storage of hotel guests' items in the hotel is regulated by Article 6.865 of the Civil Code of the Republic of Lithuania.

4.2. Hotel guests must compensate the Hotel for material losses caused by the fault of the guests themselves or the guests invited to the Hotel;

4.3. The guest (s) are responsible for their own safety when using the services provided by Hotel Porto and must comply with the hotel's rules.

4.4. If the Hotel Guest fails to fulfill its obligations under the Hotel Services Agreement and / or uses the accommodation, catering or conference facilities provided to it in a manner not agreed with the Hotel, the Hotel shall have the right to unilaterally terminate the Hotel Services and require payment of 100% of the total amount of the services specified in the booking confirmation.

5. Force majeure

5.1. The liability of the parties for non-performance of the contract for the services provided by the Hotel in case of force majeure is regulated by Article 6.212 of the Civil Code of the Republic of Lithuania.

6. Arrival and departure times

6.1. Hotel guests can arrive at the Hotel from 15:00 on the day of arrival specified in the reservation;

6.2. Upon check-in at the hotel reception, the guest will receive the electronic key (s) of the room (s);

6.3. Hotel guests must check out by 12:00 on the day of departure;

6.4. If the guest wishes to leave later than 12:00, he must inform the hotel receptionist so that the latter can, if possible, extend the validity of the guest room's electronic key;

6.5. If the guest leaves later than 12:00, he must orally notify the Hotel Administrator so that the latter can extend the validity of the guest room's electronic key;

6.6. If the guest leaves the Hotel no later than 18.00, the guest must pay 50% of the total contractual price of accommodation services for one day; if the guest leaves the Hotel after 18:00. - 100% of the total contractual price of accommodation services for one day;

6.7. If a “Hotel Services Agreement” or other individual agreement has been concluded with the Hotel, the procedure and conditions of arrival and departure of guests discussed in that agreement or agreement shall apply;

6.8. If there is more guests in the hotel room than indicated in the Hotel Booking Confirmation, an additional fee agreed by the parties will be charged for each additional guest.

7. Prices and payments:

7.1 The prices (including VAT) and payment procedure and conditions of the services provided by the Hotel are provided in the “Hotel Services Agreement”, individual agreements and offers, on the Hotel website www.portopramogos.lt and in other official advertising and information materials of the Hotel;

7.2. Services can be paid for with the Hotel in cash, credit card or bank transfer;

5.3. Unless otherwise agreed, the Hotel's services must be finally paid for after the Hotel has provided the services. If a “Hotel Services Agreement” or other individual agreement has been concluded with the Hotel, the procedure and conditions of payment for the services provided by the Hotel discussed in that agreement or agreement shall apply.

6. Other conditions:

6.1. The hotel undertakes to store the guests' items found (left) in the hotel for 3 months. after the departure of the guest and not to use the stored items for the entire period of their storage;

6.2. Hotel guests must make proper use of the items and equipment in the Hotel and immediately notify the Hotel administration of any failures observed and indemnify them if such failures are due to the fault of the guest;

6.3. On departure you have to pay for the Mini bar, laundry and ironing and restaurant, etc. The hotel provides services, informing the reception staff on the day of departure.

6.4. For security reasons, some of the hotel's common areas and facilities are monitored by video cameras.

6.5. The hotel is non-smoking. Violation of this rule is subject to a fine of 100 Eur.

6.6. The hotel rooms are serviced daily from 09:00. until 17:00

6.7. The guest who has registered with the Hotel is responsible for the consequences of the guest and / or accompanying minors and / or his / her guests not knowing or not following these rules.

6.8. Items in the hotel rooms and other hotel premises are the property of the Porto Hotel and the guest (s) are not entitled to pick them up when leaving the hotel, except for single-use hygiene items.

6.9. Noise is prohibited at the hotel from 23:00 until 06:00. If the guest (s) do not comply with this prohibition and thus disturb the public seriousness and disturb other persons living and / or working in the hotel, he / she shall be liable in accordance with the procedure established by law.

6.10. By providing personal information and data on the Hotel Guest Registration Card, the hotel guest (s) also agrees and allows the collection, use and processing of this information and data for commercial and / or promotional purposes (room reservations, guest registration, financial loss prevention, protection against insolvent customers, direct marketing) and internal statistics.

6.11. All information obtained by the Hotel and the guest (s) in cooperation is confidential and may not be transferred or otherwise disclosed to a third party without prior written agreement, except in cases where disclosure is required by the laws and other legal acts of the Republic of Lithuania;

6.12. When collecting, processing and storing the data and information provided to it by the guest (s), the Hotel follows the Law on Legal Protection of Personal Data of the Republic of Lithuania and other legal acts regulating the procedure of collecting, processing and storing personal data.

7. Fire safety:

7.1. Guests must comply with fire safety regulations. Switch off electrical appliances when leaving the room. Do not cover floor lamps or table lamps with flammable materials. A memo of the fire safety requirements can be found in the Hotel Services folder.
